Georgia’s Boy returned to racing in fine style with an impressive first up win over 1300 metres at Bendigo on Sunday 21 February 2010.
The horse was well presented in the mounting yard by trainer Gary Sherer. Georgia’s Boy looked as good as he has at anytime of his career and he ran accordingly winning by 2 lengths in the strong showcase race.
It was a very good win and he looks set for a good campaign that could see him be aimed for the Albury Gold Cup.
Brent Stanley is riding all Delbridge Racing horses well and his ride on Georgia’s Boy was another great effort.
Georgia’s Boy next run could be the Echuca Cup (1400 metres) on Sunday 7 March 2010 or alternatively a 1600 meter race at Moonee Valley on Monday 8th March 2010.
