Lightly raced Oratorio (IRE) gelding Torio’s Quest provided a popular hometown win for local trainer Brad Partelle when he stormed home to win the $100,000 feature for three year-olds at Wyong on Sunday.

The talented three year-old prevailed to win by a nose in a driving finish over Snitzel gelding Top Drop, taking his record to three wins from four starts with prizemoney of $115,150, not bad for a horse purchased for just $15,000.

Bred and offered for sale by Bowness Stud, Torio’s Quest is raced by the Viera family and is the third winner, from three to race for his dam Quest for Pleasure, an unraced daughter of VRC Oaks winner Sandy’s Pleasure.

Torio’s Quest is another smart type by the young Coolmore sire Oratorio (IRE), a triple Group I winning son of Danehill.

Delbridge Racing has high hopes for our fully syndicated Oratorio 2-y-old colt from the good producing mare, Devon Dancer, named Devoro (pictured at left)
