A pleasant morning was held on Tuesday 4th January at the Mark Kavanagh racing stables at Flemington for two Delbridge Racing syndicates to inspect their horses who are both in work and aiming to be racing in February 2011.

The Delbridge Racing Lucky syndicate were very pleased to see the growth and development of their Lucky Unicorn – Starzeel 2-y-old colt. After being purchased at the 2010 Karaka sale the colt, who will race as Luckyzeel, has developed into a strong individual and the syndicate were thrilled with the way he looked.

Also on display was Group 3 winner Shamoline Warrior and there were plenty of owners from the Delbridge Racing Platinum syndicate there to see the big bay colt, who looked a million dollars. “The Warrior” was more than happy to give some attention to the many owners and their children who were on hand to support him (pictured at left).

Trainer Mark Kavanagh was very happy with the condition of both horses and spoke to those present about what he has in store for these gallopers over the next few weeks.

General Manager, Delbridge Racing Singapore, Mark Lewis was on hand to inspect the horses and was very impressed. “Delbridge Racing is just starting to get established in Singapore and if we can secure the same quality thoroughbreds like we saw today I am sure our venture into Singapore will be successful.”

Delbridge Racing will be purchasing yearlings at the upcoming sales selected by Mark Kavanagh. If you are interested in securing a share in one of these yearlings please register your interest by emailing your details to mailto:admin@delbridgeracing.com.au
