Promising sire Niello, the full brother to Lonhro, has been in hot form over the last few weeks with 6 individual winners and two seconds in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Proving his versatility and wide-spread popularity as a sire Niello (pictured) continues to sire winners as his progeny are given time to mature and are aimed at increased distances in their races.
His recent winners include Coogan's Bluff, Chats Gal and Ocsmepop in Victoria plus two good seconds in Ten Bells Inn and Blacksahero and wins by Daiello in New Zealand and Happy and Smile in Penang.
The most impressive of his recent winners though was Chunky Custard who was heavily backed and came from a long way back to win running away in a good class 1100 metre race at Morphettville last Saturday 23rd October 2010. It was Chunky Custard's 5th win from only 16 starts.
