The Delbridge Racing Open day was held on Sunday 19th February 2012 and attended by 50 people at Marbellesa Park Gisborne, Victoria.

The large team of Delbridge Racing owners and supporters were impressed with the new property and the plans for further development that were outlined by owners Mark and Isobel Kavanagh.

But it was the quality and condition of the horses paraded that was the talking point of the day.

Mark and his team have done a wonderful job in developing the yearlings we purchased in recent years.

The first to be paraded was the Darci Brahma yearling recently purchased at the 2012 Karaka Premier yearling sale. He looks a good type and with plenty of scope for growth. He has Group 1 pedigree on both sides of his bloodlines and is expected to be syndicated very quickly. Shares are still available in this colt who is by the same sire, Darci Brahma, as our recent winner Pakari Toa.

The next group to be paraded were the 3-y-olds Pakari Toa, Luckyzeel and Believabeel. All looked in great condition.

It was then time for the un-raced 2-y-old's – Bernzigova and The Veal Deal (pictured) – to strut their stuff and they did not disappoint. Both colts are in work and have grown appreciably over the last 6 months. They both looked in magnificent condition.

The Delbridge Racing team left Marbellesa Park pretty confident that we are in for some great times in the next 12months.

Many thanks to Mark and Isobel Kavanagh for making us most welcome at their new property.
