Arrowfield Stud based Snitzel is neck and neck with Stratum in the battle to be leading Australian second crop sire by earnings, the son of Redoute’s Choice featuring at Happy Valley on Wednesday night with his first Hong Kong winner in Snitzel Kid.

Improving on his previous runs, the Caspar Fownes trained Snitzel Kid was driven forward to be second on the fence by Weichong Marwing and found the line strongly to score in a head-bobbing finish to the 1200 metre dash.

A $130, 000 purchase fro M Lau from the Bellerive Stud draft at the 2009 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Snitzel Kid is a half-brother to a HK stakes-winner in Fibber and is one of eight winners from terrific producer Chilkat.

Delbridge Racing will be syndicating a yearling colt by Snitzel (pictured) purchased at the Karaka sale in NZ by Mark Kavanagh. To read more see the For Share section of our website.
