Longstreet – (Brief Truce – Peebinga Princess) – the big striking chestnut started his career sensationally winning his first two starts in emphatic fashion. A career threatening back injury as a late 3-y-old looked likely to finish his racing career but he returned to the track after 14 months off the scene to win 3 races in a row in Victoria for trainer Gary Sherer.

Although he never seemed to re-capture his very best form he was still competitive in everything he went around in and finished his career for Delbridge Racing with Bruce Hill on the Gold Coast winning another 4 races for a total of 9 wins and 9 placings from 48 starts for a total of $101k prizemoney.

He then emabrked on a career racing for George Tipping at Mt Isa winning a futher 7 races and establishing himself as a very popular racehorse in outback Queensland.
