Shamoline Warrior was an impressive winner of th 1800 3 year-old UCI Stakes at Flemington on Saturday 3rd October 2009.  With blinkers on for the first time and with Damien Oliver on board he found galloping room late in the long Flemington straight to find the line like a promising stayer to win the 1800 metre listed race by a long neck.  His army of owners showed their support with a rousing cheer as he crossed the line to give the Delbridge Racing Platinum Syndicate their first Flemington and first black type winner.  Trainer Mark Kavanagh was a happy man after wards noting the improvement in Shamoline Warrior and says he has the constitution to run a strong 2500 metres in the Derby on October 31." He is coming good at the right time," Kavanagh said.   "I am pretty happy with the way he is going."  Shamoline Warrior will have one more lead up to run before the Victorian Derby in the 2000 metre Norman Robinson on Caulfield Cup day Saturday 17th October 2009.  The win gave Delbridge Racing our 3rd city winner and our 5th overall winner in the last fourteen days from only 7 horses in work.  Get on the Delbridge Racing juggernaut.
