2011

The talented filly Starry Eyed (Rock of Gibraltar – Starstruck) showed considerable promise as a young horse winning her maiden impressively by 3.5 lengths at her second start over 1000 metres at Bendigo. She then went straight to Moonee Valley for a strong all the way win over 1200 metres.

She was then tested against the best with most of her starts over the next 12 months against the top grade running some great races without much luck.

From only 14 starts she won 2 races and was placed 4 times for $59k in prizemoney.

Injury forced her early retirement as a 4-y-old and she was sold at the Magic Millions broodmare sale for $42,000. She was a talented racehorse and we expect her to be successful as a broodmare in the future.
