The Darren Weir trained Broadway Harmony had to play second fiddle to the Choisir fill Jesse’s Girl at Sandown at her previous start but she reversed the decision in style with an easy win in Sunday’s Listed Dequetteville Stakes (1100m) at Morphettville.
Her task was made easier when Jesse’s Girl dawdled out of the barriers. Sebastian Murphy drove Broadway Harmony (Statue Of Liberty (USA) x No Peace (Rokosz) to a winning lead in the straight and despite Jesse’s Girl (Choisir) making up many lengths in the run home she fell 2 1/4-lengths short of Broadway Harmony with Across The Moon (Stratum) a half-length back in third.
Broadway Harmony won on debut at Moonee Valley before her nose defeat behind Jesse’s Girl.

Broadway Harmony is the third living foal of the Rokosz mare No Peace whose only win in starts came in a maiden at Edenhope.

No Peace is a half-sister to Listed stakes-winner No Mischief (Mister C) and the stakes-placed No Mystery (El Qahira). No Peace has a yearling colt and weanling filly by No Faith and was bred back to Primus last year.

Delbridge Racing will be syndicating a half-brother to Broadway Harmony by Keep The Faith (pictured) from No Peace so please let us know if you are interested.
