After a long spring carnival where winners are hard to select, you can always rely on the ghostly grey Translation to get you back and winning when the tracks dry out.

After striking an unsuitable wet track which ruined his winning chances on Oaks Day at Flemington, Translation produced the zest of old in a fast run race on a dry track to win impressively today at Sandown at the good odds of $17.

Cheered on by a crew of enthusiastic owners the Russell Cameron trained 7 year old showed the same passion for racing as the  Delbridge Racing team who race him.

His win was the fourth for the Delbridge Racing Believer syndicate who race Translation and his 3rd city win.

Prominent owner, Tony Coco, was on hand to enjoy the win. “It was a great win and it made the long trip from Greensborough worth every minute. It was my first winner with Delbridge Racing and I am sure there will be many more in the future”.

Translation is now in peak fitness and form and should be hard to beat in any race he contests on the dry summer tracks.
