Beltoro was back in the winning stalls on Saturday 14th January 2023 at Flemington. It was a well-deserved win for the horse and everybody involved.
He was given a great run-in transit by jockey Teo Nugent, with Teo positioning him perfectly mid-field with cover.
He made his move coming into the straight under a good hold and basically sprinted away from the rest of the field in the straight to win by just under 4 lengths. It was run in the good time of 1:35:79.

Beltoro has now won 4 races with 3 seconds, 4 thirds, 2 fourths and 5 fifths from only 24 starts and $391k in prizemoney. Beltoro has had 6 starts in this campaign for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th – what a consistent performer.
As long as he continues to be in good condition and racing competitively, he will keep going this time in with his next run is likely to be at Sandown in early February 2023.
