Thunder “Teddy” Teddington has travelled from the other side of the world to be here for the greatest racing carnival on the planet. After a good first up run over an unsuitable 1600 metres recently at Sandown he is now ready to “strut his stuff” at Caulfield on Saturday 24th September 2016.
The Hungarian star is looking to re-produce his best performances in Europe in the cauldron of spring racing Victorian style and will get his chance on Underwood Stakes day in the 2400 metre listed Harry White Classic.
Trainer Jason Warren has him in great condition and ready to run a big race. The 2400 meters is ideal but there is still plenty of improvement in him as we eye a number of staying races over the carnival. If he performs well on Saturday keep following him.
Teddy will race in the Delbridge Racing colours made familiar by the deeds of gallopers such as Shamoline Warrior, Allano, Parallel Lines, Georgia’s Boy, Translation, Pakari Toa and our “cult hero” Drizzle, seen returning to scale after winning on Gold Coast Magic Millions day.
