Group 3 Wins
2011
Shamoline Warrior was clearly the best Delbridge Racing horse to date winning at both Group 3 and listed level. His win in the 2009 Norman Robinson was the highlight of his brief career when he rounded the field up on the turn and raced away to install himself as Victorian Derby favourite.
He was a horse with untapped ability and briefly claimed the status of the next top Australian stayer.
A race morning scratching when favourite for the Victorian Derby was the first of a number of setbacks for the “Warrior”.
Unfortunately with further injuries and setbacks he was unable to regain the form of his early 2 and 3-y-old years and he finally succumbed to injury in the 2011 Easter Cup at Caulfield.
He won 3 races from only 12 starts to collect $204k for the Delbridge Racing Platinum syndicate. He was sold as a stallion to stand at Bluegables stud in NZ. There is no doubt that the Delbridge Racing faithful will be looking forward to his progeny being produced at the sales.
